Based in Port Adelaide, the company provides wharf cartage, container transport, warehousing, distribution, heavy haulage and other logistics services.

About the role

We're looking for experienced truck drivers with an unrestricted HC or MC licence to join our team, supporting a range of local customers.

You'll be responsible for safely operating Symons Clark Logistics trucks across local routes, ensuring containers and other goods are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Port Adelaide, with local work that allows you to be home every night.

Key responsibilities

• Safely loading, securing and transporting goods
• Completing pre-trip vehicle checks and required documentation
• Following road safety and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
• Completing deliveries and safely unloading at customer sites
• Undertaking other duties as required

About you

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• A current unrestricted HC or MC driver's licence and proven driving experience
• A strong safety record and understanding of Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload

Experience in the following areas will also be highly regarded:

• Containers and side-loaders
• Dangerous Goods
• Load restraint, including straps, ratchets, dogs and chains
