After more than a decade of delivering civil infrastructure projects across Australia, BildGroup is making a deliberate move into the energy and renewables sector.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to help lead this next stage of our growth.

You’ll initially be based in Melbourne, working alongside our estimating team to price and shape a growing pipeline of energy tenders. As projects are secured, you’ll establish and lead their delivery, build your team and grow into a broader leadership role within the business.

About the role

As Senior Project Manager – Energy & Renewables, you’ll help develop BildGroup’s growing energy pipeline and lead projects from tender through to delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with the estimating team to price and shape energy and renewables tenders
• Supporting bid strategy, tender development and commercial alignment
• Establishing and leading projects as work is secured
• Building and developing high-performing project teams
• Managing client relationships and key project stakeholders
• Overseeing project contracts, variations and claims
• Supporting the development of BildGroup’s broader energy and renewables capability
• Travelling interstate and working FIFO or DIDO as required for secured projects

Skills and experience

• Senior-level experience delivering civil or infrastructure projects
• Experience within energy or renewables—including substations, wind, solar, battery energy storage systems or terminal stations—is highly regarded
• Proven bid, tender or estimating experience, or a strong track record and genuine willingness to develop this capability
• Strong commercial acumen
• Sound contract knowledge across variations, claims and tender alignment
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to build high-performing teams
• Strong client and stakeholder relationship-management skills
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
• MIEAust status is highly regarded
• Willingness to travel interstate and work FIFO or DIDO as projects are secured
