Project Electricians / Comms Techs (Defence)

 The Opportunity
AustCorp is seeking several Projects / Installation Electricians with Data Comms experience to join a well-established organisation providing new builds, upgrades, and minor works installations based in Perth - SOR.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, minor works, and upgrades to lighting fixtures, power outlets, electrical panels, and other electrical components, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Conduct running of cables, terminations, commissioning and testing of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance. 
• Adhere to electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance and minimise risks.
• Maintain accurate records of installations.
• Installation & Commissioning of Data / Comms cabling, from splicing to terminations and racks.
• Interact with clients, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements, provide updates on progress, and address any concerns or questions regarding electrical systems.

Job Requirements:

• Australian Citizenship Only!
• Must hold a Defence Clearance (minimum is baseline clearance; NV1 is ideal)
• Valid A Grade Unrestricted Electrical License
• Cert III Telecommunications (desired)
• Open Cabling License (desirable)
• White Card
• Valid Driver's License
• 3+ years projects experience on Defence, Government or Critical Environments.
• Will need to obtain a Clear NPC upon reference stage
