Seeking Grounds | Maintenance Staff

Love being outdoors and keen to learn a hands-on trade? Our client is growing their grounds maintenance teams in NSW and QLD and wants people ready to start something new.

The team comes from all walks of life. Some have served in Defence or as first responders, some have worked in landscaping, construction or facilities, and others have come from completely different fields. If you're after a career change, you'll get hands-on training and support to learn the trade. The reliability, teamwork and safety awareness you've built elsewhere will be valued from day one.

The role

• Looking after the general upkeep and maintenance of site grounds and gardens
• Mowing, trimming, weeding and keeping outdoor areas tidy
• Identifying and managing risks that come with grounds work
• Learning to operate ride-on mowers, line trimmers, blowers and other equipment

You may be required to have

• A valid, unrestricted driver's licence
• Australian citizenship, as you'll need to obtain and hold a Defence security clearance
