(including overtime and penalties) plus superannuationPublic holiday rate from $62 to $70 per hour, Sunday from $49 to $56 per hour and Saturday from $37 to $42 per hour.Enjoy 5 weeks annual leavePaid on the job training, including Cert IIIUniforms, meals and limited onsite parking providedAccess 24/7 medical, mental health support, and flexible salary packagingThe roleAs a Correctional Officer at the Adelaide Remand Centre, you’ll be actively providing prisoner safety protection and support through dynamic monitoring and respectful engagement while also ensuring the security of the facility. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team to provide best practice prisoner intake, assessment, and induction processes. You will support the prisoner transitioning into the SA prison system or release into the community.As a Correctional Officer, you’ll make a difference by:                                      Ensuring facility safety and security through dynamic monitoring and compliance protocolsSupporting a culturally sensitive environment and respecting diversity Supervising daily prisoner activities and management regimesParticipating in prisoner intake, transfer, and discharge processesBeing a member of the multi-disciplinary team that provides health, mental health and case management servicesResponding to incidents with professionalism and adhering to de-escalation procedures Promoting prisoner reintegration into the community and ensuring contact with family, community and cultural supports and legal assistanceSkills and experienceSerco is a place for you                                                                                 If you have the passion, integrity, and determination to create a positive impact, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.No experience?
