Be apart of the best youth development organisation.About the organisationThe AAFC is an inclusive youth development organisation focused on developing youth to fulfill their potential by providing training and experiences that in all cases enables our cadets to be better off because of their experiences with the AAFC.Our focus is to proactively support, guide, and encourage youth in achieving skill sets of value to them and the community.The roleAs a Civilian Instructor, you will plan and execute experiences that are unforgettable from taking Cadets out bush to running activities on Air Force bases. The Air Force Cadets offers a diverse range of training with support from Air Force, some of the range includes but is not limited to:Fieldcraft and navigationAdventure trainingService knowledgeDrill and ceremonialFirearms trainingAeromodellingGliding and powered flyingVacancies currently exist at 601SQN, Keswick Barracks SA.601SQN Parade Fridays 18:00 – 22:00 during the school term, and conduct occasional weekend activities throughout the year.Applicants that progress to uniform staff may be eligible for an allowance.Mentor today's youth in leadership and give them life skills that they will cherish.RequirementsApplicants must:Commit to regularly attend AAFC activities.Not be a current member of the Australian Navy Cadets, the Australian Army Cadets, the Australian Air Force Cadets or member of a foreign military or foreign cadet organisation.Satisfy mandatory checks including background checks by police and working with children checks)Hold and maintain first aid qualifications.Be a permanent resident to volunteer or Australian citizen for uniform.Full eligibility requirements can be viewed at https://www.airforcecadets.gov.au/how-to-joinJob detailsVacancies: 2How to applyApply via the link.From here your application will processed by the relevant wing personnel and they will be in contact with you to organise interviews and forms as required.
